More recently, her work has been influenced by her surroundings in Hampshire, where she lives near Lymington and the edge of the New Forest. Here, the push and pull between nature and human activity is equally present, with the oil industry and other developments pressing on the coastline and forest. Her paintings capture this  balance with layering atmosphere and texture, to reflect landscapes that are at once scenic and industrial, fragile but also resilient.
